Willie Stroud

Mr. Willie Stroud, the husband of Amy Stroud, had his transition Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

A native of Egypt, GA, he moved to Savannah, GA and attended Cuyler Hr. High and Alfred Eli. Beach High Schols. ""Bill"" as he was affectionately called, served his Country in the United States Army, where he received an Honorable Discharge. He was employed as a Cement Finisher for twenty years with Mahaney Construction Company.

His parents, Willie Stroud, Sr and Jessie Davis Stroud, preceded his in death.

Survivors: a loving and devoted wife, Amy Stroud of Savannah, GA; sister, Albertha S. Seabrooks of Savannah, GA; to two stepsons: T.J. Bowens and Eris Jenkins, both of Savannah, GA;ngoddaughter, Amber S. Jones of Mt. Vernon, GA; seven sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, great-grand nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service: 11:00am, Monday, November 3, 2008 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc Chapel. Public viewing: Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the funeral home from 12:00 noon - 8:00pm and Monday from 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA with Military Honors.
