Walter Edwin Jarnigan, II

Mr. Walter Edwin Jarnigan, II, 44, was born August 24, 1964, in Savannah, Georgia to the late Walter and Marie Jarnigan.

Walter was a member of Butler Presbyterian Church. He was a 1982 graduate of Windson Forest High School, where he played in the Windson Forest High School Marching Band, Symphony Band, Concert Band, and the Jazz Band. He was also a member of the Student Government Association and other various clubs.

From 1982 to 1984, Walter matriculated to Savannah State University where in majored in Engineering Technology and played in the Tiger's Marching Band.

In 1984, he relocated to Washington, DC, where he met and married Traci White in 1989. Walter and his family resided in St. Augustine, Florida since. 2006.

Left to live his legacy on are: three sons: Shaun (Latisha) White of St. Lewis Park, MN, Walter E. Jarnigan, III and Cameron J. Jarnigan, both of St. Augustine, Florida; two sisters: Cheryl (Dennis) Coleman of Southfield, MI and Angela Jarnigan-Gray of Savannah, Georgia; an aunt, Anna C. Hardrick of Savannah, Georgia; two granddaughters: Trinity and Eden; a mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James White of Winston Salem, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rev. Desmond Walker, Officiating.
