Mr. Tommy Henderson, Sr., 47, had his transition Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Memorial Health University Medical Center, 4700 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31404.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, was a resident of Springfield, Georgia, was born to Mr. George Henderson and Mrs. Loretta Bob Henderson.

He graduated in the class of 1982 from Richard Arnold High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Antionette Butler and grandparents.

Mr. Henderson was a member of Overcoming By Faith, worked many years at Waste Management and as a self-employed truck driver for Grizzard Trucking.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Mrs. Karen Baul Henderson; the daughters: Mrs. Lateka Jones Harris (Reginald), Ms Jatonia C. Henderson, and Ms Tanesha R. Henderson; three sons: Mr. Tommy Henderson, II, Terence Henderson ( Chantrelle)and Jarmie Henderson; four grandchildren: Destiny Denmark, Tomari Henderson, Isaiah Harris and Teiana Henderson; father, Mr. George Henderson; three sisters: Ms Lorraine Middleton, Mrs. Linda McClendon (Robert), and Ms Lisa Henderson; one brother, Mr. Anthony Butler; mother-in-law, Mrs. Claudell Baul Milton; four sisters-in-law: Mrs. Sharon Spencer (Johnny), Mrs. Simone McKelly Briggs (David), Mrs. Selena Milton Brown (James) and Ms Monique Courts; brother-in-law, Paul Courts, II; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service: 11:00am Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Overcomingh By Faith Ministeries, 7900 Middleground Road, Savannah, GA 31419, Pastor Rick Temple, Spiritual Leader.

Viewing: Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 10:00am - 6:00pm at Adams Funeral Services, Inc, 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405.
