State Representative Edward "Mickey" Stephens

Adams announces the passing of State Representative Edward “Mickey” Stephens, 77, who transitioned on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in The Adams Chapel located 510 Stephenson Ave. Savannah, GA 31405; this will not be a sit-down visitation. Visitors are asked to pay your respects, sign the guestbook and exit.

Honoring the Life of State Representative Edward "Mickey" Stephens will begin at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Savannah State University's Tiger Arena with a formal program. The doors will open at 5:00 PM with proper COVID screening protocols and a mask mandate enforced.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist - Savannah located 222 E Harris St, Savannah, GA 31401.

Interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to please make donations or contributions to the Restoration project of St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church of Savannah mailed to 556 E. Gordon St. Savannah, GA 31401.

The service on Tuesday evening at Tiger Arena at 6:00 PM and the service on Wednesday at Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 2:00 PM will be live streamed on Adams Funeral Services Facebook page: www.facebook.com/adamsfuneralservices
