Mr. Stanley Rosemond, 60, had his transition Monday, October 27, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
A native of Liberty, SC, ""James"", as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Liberty, SC public school systems. At an early age, he was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church in Liberty, SC.
In 1967, he served his Country in the United States Marine Corp where he received numerous special metals including: The Purple Heart, National Defense, Vietnamese Service, Vietnamese Campaign, The Combat Action and Good Conduct Metals and an Honorable Discharge.
Stanley leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and caring wife, Frances L. Rosemond of Savannah, GA; son, Ronnie Mazyzh of Anderson, SC; sister, Pauline Holden of Norris, SC; two grands: Myasis Gamble and LaSandra Jennings, both of Anderson, SC;
aunt, Alice Rosemond of Norris, SC; niece, Angie Benson of Norris, SC; nephew, James Benson of Norris, SC; mother-in-law, Annie B. Graham of Savannah, GA; three brothers-in-law: Clarence Graham, Earl Graham and Paul Graham, all of Savannah, GA; four sisters-in-law: Beatrice Weathers of Savannah, GA, Olivia (Esau) Fuller of Midway, GA, Anna Graham and Lenora (Clarence) Axon, all of Savannah, GA; a special cousin, Mr. & Mrs. Donnie Rhone of Liberty, SC; a host of other cousins, extended relatives and friends.
Funeral service: 1:00pm Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc Chapel, Minister Leo G. Burns, Eulogist. Public viewing: Friday, October 31, 2008 from 12:00 noon - 8:00pm at the funeral home and Saturday, from 9:00am until hour of service.
Interment: Woodville Cemetery with full Military Honors.
