OBITUARY

Ret. SFC of the U.S. Army Charlie Jasper Brown Jr. Passed in peace from pancreatic cancer on Jan 4, 2021. Preceded in death by his loving wife Vicky, and son David. Further survived by nieces Jennifer and Octavia Jones/ Robert’s , Nephew Kenneth Brown and countless  other relatives and friends.

Charlie will be remembered as a loving father, husband, friend, confidant, and is someone whom everyone loved and respected. Charlie never met a stranger; he was the most charming man you could ever meet.

Charlie graduated from Beach high school in 1972 from Savannah Georgia. Due to his remarkable athleticism and keen intelligence, he was blessed to travel around while playing basketball for the Pals team from Savannah Georgia.

Charlie continued to excel in life and enrich his spirt once he joined the United States Army in 1972. He was an extraordinary DJ, dancer, dresser and capable of captivating audiences which helped him flourish as a recruiter. When Charlie spoke, you were naturally enthralled by his mere spirt.

Charlie’s next journey led him to U.S.P.S on Sept 16, 1995 until Dec 31, 2016 where he proudly retired as the Branch Manger at the Brightwood Post Office. He always strived to add value into others. Charlie was keenly mindful of the grace he has received and was the first to extend that grace unto others. He was thankful for the many blessings in life; and he always treated everyone with respect. They just always needed to remember to feed him, and all is well.

In our memories and in our hearts forever, we will miss you Charlie Brown.
