Sergeant Jonathan Minor, 33, had his transition on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Candler Hospital.

Funeral services for Sgt. Jonathan Minor will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 6, 2017 in the Adams Chapel.

Public Viewing: Monday, 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

OBITUARY:

He was born May 1, 1983 in Rochester, NY. He was the son of Bertha Taylor Minor and the late Jonnie B. Mouzon. He relocated to Utica, NY and attended T.R. Proctor High School where he was a member of the Marching Band. He later moved to Jacksonville, FL where he entered the United States Army for six years prior to his honorable discharge in 2016.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Clarence and Bertha Taylor-Dingle, Uncle Clarence Dingle Jr., Aunt Mary Taylor-Brantley, and Aunt Gloria Gean.
He leaves to mourn his mother, brother Jason (JD) of Utica, NY, sister Jaclyn of Oklahoma City, OK, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews including Xavier and Justice, and two special friends Sgt. Gary Grimes and Nora Shuman of Savannah, GA.

Funeral Services and Military Honors will be Monday, February 6th 2017, at 1pm at the Adams Funeral Home 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405 with Pastor Quentin J. Morris of Tremont Temple Baptist Church Officiating.
