Rosa Griffin

Mrs. Rosa ""Rita Bell"" Griffin, 88 had her transition on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Memorial Health Medical Health University. The Estill, SC native retired from the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education. She was a faithful member of True Born Holiness Church in Midway, GA where she served as the Mother of the Church.
She is proceeded in death by one son James Hopkins.
Survivors are, 2 sons; Julius Newton, of Tampa FL, Richard ( Sheila ) Griffin of Richmond Hill, GA; 6 daughters, Earline Beckett, Brenda ( Harold ) Jones, Irma Williams, Marie ( Stevens ) Settles all of Savannah, GA, Irene ( Major) Mitchell of Miami, FL, Delores Auguster of Jacksonville, FL; 28 Grandchildren, 51 Great- Grandchildren, 3 Great- Great Grandchildren, Sister In Law, Estilla Bowers of Savannah, a Host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at 911 Mill Court.

Funeral Services : 12 Noon Saturday March 6, 2010 at New Life Apostolic Temple, 2120 West Bay Street

Public Viewing : Friday March 5, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Services

Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens
