Adams announces funeral services for Reverend Louis Scott Stell, III which will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Central Missionary Baptist Church located 738 Hitch Dr.
Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
Louis Scott Stell, III was born was born September 10, 1942 in Atlanta, Ga. He was the first born son of the late Rev. Louis Scott Stell, Jr. and Mrs. Jessie Stell. He was educated in the Chatham County public schools and graduated from Alfred E. Beach High School, Class of 1960. He attended Shaw University and Savannah State (College) now University.
Bro. Stell was reared, licensed, and ordained at the age of 18, as a gospel minister by his father in Bethlehem Baptist Church. He pastored three churches, namely; Faith Memorial Baptist Church, Wilmington Missionary Baptist Church, and started his own church following the guidance of God, New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church.
In 2010 Rev. Louis Stell joined Central Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully as an Assoc. Minister; and as an advisor to help re-generate the Brotherhood/Men’s Ministry of Central.
It is with sadness that Sis. Stell and the family announce his passing on July 6, 2018 at the age of 75.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Ella Stell, his three surviving children; Charmange A. Stell, Charles B. Stell, Sr. and James B. Stell. He will also be fondly remembered by his grand children; Raymond Gibson, RaShanda Gibson, Charles Gibson, Cassie Gibson, DeVona Stell, Diamond Stell, Charles Stell, II and Christopher Stell; two brothers, Pastor Larry James Stell (Mary) and Ralph L. Stell, Sr. (Delma, Ed.D).
Holding his memory will also be a host of nephews, nieces, great-grand children, other family members and friends.
