Adams announces funeral services for Ms. Willie Mae Stewart which will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in The Adams Chapel.

Viewing will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM, Monday, June 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.

Willie Mae Stewart entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 29, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Thaddeus Reed and Louise Bolden. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hattie Woodard, brothers Lawrence Reed and Jerome Bolden and best friend Theodoshia Brown.

She was educated in the Savannah Chatham County Public School System and attended Woodville Tompkins High School. She retired from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in 2003 after 24 years of service. She was a member of Saint John Baptist Church “The Mighty Fortress” where she sang soprano with The Voices of The Mighty Fortress. She was known by many for her sweet, kind, and caring spirit. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Charlene (Tamika) Stewart, Deborah Stewart- Mackey; granddaughter, Alexis (Jeremiah) Pusha; great granddaughters,  Aspen and Alea Pusha; special niece/daughter, Donna (Randall, Sr) Lipsey Green; adopted daughter, Judy Ann Scott; sisters, Mary (George) Stewart, Gwendolyn Reed; nieces, Brenda Pough, Valerie Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida; nephews, Eric (Vanessa) Bolden, Michael (Kenya) Woodard, and Anthony (Ronlyn) Cook all of Savannah, Georgia and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and loved ones.
