Adams announces the passing of Ms. Susan Carol Iavarone, 68, who transitioned on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Memorial Hospital.

Adams announces funeral services of Ms. Susan Carol Iavarone which will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 9, 2021 in The Adams Chapel.

Viewing will be held from 12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M.,

Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the funeral home.

On August 23, 1952 Susan Carol Iavarone was born to Ms Mary Scarfuto and Fernando Iavarone

She graduated from Prospect Heights high school in Brooklyn New York in 1970.  Susan went on to further her education to become a cosmetologist. After many years of cosmetology she went to work for Mercan’t  shipping company in JFK airport as a shipping clerk for 20 years.  Susan met her future life partner Dyke Noble in  1992.  After 13 years together in New York , they decided to relocate to Kenna, Louisiana in 2005. after hurricane Katrina hit, that same year they were forced to relocate elsewhere. They chose to moved to Savannah, Georgia. She then went to culinary school to become a baker and found employment in the deli of piggly wiggly supermarkets. She became ill with continuous swelling of her feet. She was forced to give up her job and focus on her health. As time went on she developed other ailments that did not allow her to return to work. She went in to the hospital for a problem with her feet and never recovered. Susan leaves behind her loving life partner Mr. Dyke Noble, brothers Phillip Iavarone, Neil Scarfuto, Vinny Scarfuto, Dominic Scarfuto, Anthony Scarfuto

Cousins Rusty, Snooks, Guy, Lorraine and family. She was very special to quite a bit of people and  will be deeply missed.
