Sharron Louise Blake aka “Ms Sharron” was born September 22, 1954 in Savannah, GA to Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin (Willie Pearl) Blake Sr. who preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Darin L. Blake and George C. Cutter Jr. both of Atlanta Georgia. Five grandchildren, Christine D. Blake, Darin A. Blake, Zhakari L. Blake, Tarynn A. Blake and Kieran Blake. Three Sisters: Mr and Mrs Nathaniel (Sarah) Thompson, Linda Blake, and Tammy Blake, and one brother the late Benjamin (Tater) Blake. Sharron also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish her Love.
Sharron graduated from Richard Arnold High School in Savannah Georgia. Her enthusiasm for helping people and hard work led her to LEVY’s of Savannah in Downtown Savannah until the store closed in 1987. From there, she started working at the Savannah Golf Club where she retired after 20 plus years of customer service.
Sharron was full of life with a loving heart and was known for her ability to make people laugh. With no hesitation, if someone needed help, she always offered to help or find a solution to any situation proposed to her. Ms Sharron was an industrious, diligent hard worker, which was the blue print of her career and a part of her secret to success that she did not mind sharing. She never met a stranger and the members of the Savannah Golf Club were like an extended family. A Kona sour of all genres of music that range from the 60’s to 90’s. One of her favorite quotes and song: “I am doing fine on cloud 9” and “Dear Moma” by Tupac Shakur. Once Ms Sharron heard one of her songs playing, she would be ready to have a dance off because she loved music and was full of Life.
She relocated to Atlanta Ga in the later half of 2016. The move was not easy for Ms Sharron, however, after three months Atlanta became her new home. After a short hospitalization, she was transferred to Puritt Health Care in Macon, GA. On Tuesday April 14, 2020, Ms Blake transitioned to the “Stairway To Heaven”. Her beautiful personality and smile will be Truly Missed!!!
