Ms. Gloria Hamilton

Adams announces the passing of Ms. Gloria J. Hamilton, 67, who transitioned Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Memorial Health University Hospital.

Adams announces funeral services of Ms. Gloria J. Hamilton which will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at First African Baptist Church of East Savannah.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Gloria Jean Hamilton was born on September 16, 1951 to the late

John H. Hamilton and Janie A. Wiggins Hamilton.

Gloria was a native of Savannah, She received her Education in Chatham County public schools and graduated from Savannah High School.

Gloria was baptized and raised as a member of St. Mary’s AME Church where she sang in the choir .

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Melvin Hamilton, Carl Hamilton, and John J. Hamilton; her stepbrother, Robert Murphy; and her step sister, Cynthia Edwards.

Gloria leaves loving memories to her son, Romon Hamilton, and to her daughters: Dekisha Kennedy (Marvin), LaVondra Osborne and Kimberly Hamilton; her sisters Johnnie Mae Grant (O’Neal), and Barbara Hamilton Jacobs; her brothers: Ronald Hamilton (Lula) Gregory Hamilton, and Marvin Hamilton; a step mother: Margaret Murphy Hamilton; and a step brother: Henry Murphy; Three Bonus Children: Eddie, Nicole, Zinobia; and many others; a beloved friend Katherine Dixon; grandchildren: Myeisha, DeAndre, Voshawn, Malik, Quanterra, Terry Jr,, Amari and Kimora; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment: East Savannah Cemetery.
