Psalms 27.

On June 28th, 2020 God browsed amidst His garden and plucked a precious flower, Barbara Ann Byrd to carry with him.

Barbara Ann Byrd was born June 8th. 1952 in Savannah, Ga to Mr. Lester and Carolyn M. Byrd. Her father preceded her in death, also preceded her in death, a daughter Tanzy Byrd, one sister Lynda Joyce (Byrd) Grant and one granddaughter Terri Elise Byrd. Barbara affectionately known as "Barn" spent her life loving, caring, giving and being and inspiration to others. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and love gatherings at her home, especially on holidays. Word First Christian Church was her church home. She attended the public schools of Chatham County. She worked as a Health Care Tech Supervisor at Savannah Square Retirement Community and retired after 21 years of service.

Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters Tasha La'Shay (Clinton) Jones, Bettina Mciver Bryant, one Son Glenn Terrell (Madeline) Byrd, one granddaughter Khadijah A. Byrd   one grandson Glenn T. Byrd ll, Mother Carolyn Byrd- Mars, Two Sisters Patricia B. (William) Green, Sheryl B.Harris, two brothers Lester (Diane)Byrd ll, Pastor Dennis (Beverly) Aikens, two Uncles John Byrd, Jackie (Pat) Morgan, one god daughter Shannon Bruce and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Adams announces the passing of Ms. Barbara Byrd, 68, who transitioned on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Public Viewing: 4:00 P. M. – 6:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2020 at the Funeral Home.
