Virginia Rhett-Mobley, age 75, of Savannah, GA passed away on July 7, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.

 Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Adams Funeral Services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Kelly Temple Church of Christ Holiness unto the Lord, Inc. with Elder Errol Adams Roach, officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Adams Funeral Services.

Virginia Rhett Mobley was born in Oliver, GA to Jessie Mae Bartley-Reynolds and John Lester Rhett on July 24,1948. She went to school in Screven County. She was a devoted member of Kelly Temple Church of Christ Holiness unto the Lord, Inc. Some of her hobbies include cooking, spending time with family and friends, and sewing (she especially liked to make drapes).

Virginia is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Wilson Rhett "Chucky"; her parents Jessie Mae Bartley-Reynolds and John Lester Rhett; two sisters, Lillie Mae Rhett-Kinlaw and Carolyn Rhett; and two brothers, Ernest Scott, Sr. "Chatty" and Tom Rhett.

Virginia is survived by her brothers, Cleveland Bartley, Willie James Rhett, and Jerry Rhett; her grandchildren Ni'Yokia Rhett, Santorio Robinson, and Candace Young; her nieces and nephews, Velandria Jones, Nevaeh Rhett, Johnnie Baker, and Ernest Scott, Jr.; her grandniece, Calei Shell; her aunt Ernestine Rhett Wright; and a host of cousins, distant relatives, and close friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Brathwaite, Vance Fuller, Keith Hills, Johnny Morgan, George Rhett, and Santorio Robinson.

Memorials may be given to Adams Funeral Services.
