Ms. Mary Tolson, 50, had her transition on Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Funeral services for Ms. Mary Louise Parker Tolson will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Christ Memorial Baptist Church located 1023 Dutchtown Rd.,Larry Broxton, Pastor.

Pastor Timothy Sheppard of Central Missionary Baptist Church 3119 Shell Rd. officiating.

Instate into the church: 9:00AM.

Public Viewing will be held 10:00AM-6:00PM, Friday, April 4, 2014 at the funeral home.

Interment: Shad Cemetery on Bellinger Hill Road, Hardeeville, S.C.



OBITUARY:

God reached into his garden and picked one of his precious flowers. This flower was names Mary (Tia) Tolson who entered into eternal life on March 28, 2014. She was born on October 23, 1963 in Savannah, GA to Mr. Otis and Viola Parker.

Mary graduated from Savannah High School in 1981 and continued her educated at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She worked in various capacities as a customer service representative and a day care teacher’s assistant. She enjoyed cooking and was known for making her famous egg rolls.

Mary resided in several states as a military spouse and mother and later moved to Tampa, FL for a short time in her life.

She was preceded in death by her sister Cathlee Parker Green.

Precious memories rest upon two sons and one daughter: Dexter Tolson, II, Briana Tolson(Kendrick) Barr, and Jayson Tolson of Atlanta, GA; parents Mr. Otis and Viola Parker of Hardeeville, SC; three sisters: Thelma (Bernard) Garvin of Savannah, GA, Patricia (Jeffery) Hillard of Bloomingdale, GA and Sharon (Steve) of Hardeeville, SC; one brother: CPL Rondrick (Gabriel) Parker of Jacksonville, N.C., two grandsons; Dontrell Tolson and Dominick Spikes, two step-brothers; Thomas Bentley and Rodney Dunbar of Savannah, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
