Ms. Clara Lee Lowe

Ms. Clara Lee Lowe, a beacon of light and laughter, departed this world on February 8, 2025, surrounded by the soft, cherished memories of her life, at the age of 74. Born on July 28, 1950, in the charming town of Savannah, Georgia, Clara carried with her the warm charm of Southern hospitality, a quality that defined not only her character but also the indelible impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She was a proud graduate of Beach High school class of 68", and enjoyed taking cruises to celebrate class trips. She will be remembered as a loving mother, loving grandmother, and trusted friend. She was an avid reader who never lost her thirst for knowledge and love of books. She brought out the best in every person she encountered and was not afraid to lend advice. She will be greatly missed, but forever cherished by all. She is survived by her daughter Winter Anderson(Royce Jr husband) grandson Royce III, her Son Van-Buren Heyward Jr(Gwen wife), grandchildren, Kwanza, Jada, Michael, Van III, Vanae. Two sisters Viola Jackson, Julia Lowe, brother John (Uncle William) Cannady, and a host of nieces and nephews. She will have a private memorial with immediate family where her ashes will be spread per her wishes.
