Ms. Carmen Broxton Walker, a devoted mother, cherished friend, and valued team member, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, in her beloved hometown of Savannah, Georgia. Born on September 2, 1973, Carmen’s life was a testament to the strength of love, laughter, and familial bonds.
Carmen was most recently employed with CenterWell Healthcare, where she was recognized as a dedicated and valuable member of the team. Her coworkers appreciated her commitment and the joy she brought to the workplace. Throughout her career, she exemplified professionalism, kindness, and a spirit of camaraderie that will be greatly missed.
Growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina, Carmen attended Walter Hines Page High School. Carmen was a woman of deep faith, attending Love and Faith Christian Fellowship in Greensboro, North Carolina and Emmanuel Tabernacle Apostolic Faith Church in Savannah, Georgia, where she fostered connections with her faith community.
Those who knew her, remember her great sense of humor and her infectious laughter. She was a supportive friend and was particularly proud of her role as a loving mother to her two sons, Leforice "JJ" and Jordan Walker. Her dedication to her children was evident in the countless memories they created together, each a testament to her love and commitment.
Family gatherings were a highlight of Carmen’s life. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, particularly during holiday celebrations, where reminiscing and shared laughter filled the air. She often spoke of her children as her proudest accomplishments, reflecting the immense love she had for them.
Carmen also found joy in exploring new places and was known to enjoy vacations. These interests brought much happiness to her life and shaped many wonderful experiences that she treasured.
Carmen is survived by her sons, Leforice "JJ" and Jordan Walker; her father, Ronald Broxton; her brother, Brian Broxton; and her sister, Ebony Broxton; She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Broxton.
As we remember Ms. Carmen Broxton Walker, we honor a life beautifully lived, marked by love for her family and the joy she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy will continue to live on through those who loved her dearly.

Viewing will be held 4PM to 6PM Friday, December 13, 2024 at Adams Funeral Services.
