MRS. KIMBERLY V. BENTON, 29, had her transition Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Hospice Savannah, Inc after a short illness, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
A native of Svannah, GA, ""Kim"" as she was affectionately known, attended the public schools of Chatham County and graduated from Alfred Eli Beach High School in 1997. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Taylor Chapel AME Church.
Kim leaves to cherish her memories: Her two preciuos daughters: Kyra Scott and Naikera Benton; her loving parents: Vernon Benton and Lorene Jones; two sisterss: Talibra King and Kindra Daniels; two brothers: Stacy Benton and Brandon Benton; her darling grandparents: Henry and Mary Mincey; special friends: Nathaniel Furlow and April Harris; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended relatives, friends and Kim's classmates of her graduation class.
Funeral services: 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Temple of Glory Community Church, 1105 Stiles Avenue, Bishop Matthew M. Odum, Sr., Pastor. Public viewing: Friday, June 27, 2008 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc., 510 Stephenson Avenue. In state: 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Woodville Cemetery. Cortege will leave from 209 Habitat Drive at 11:00am.
