Adams announces the passing of Mr. Wesley Jerome Golden, 73 who transitioned on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at his residence.

Adams announces funeral services for Mr. Wesley Jerome Golden which will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Beaufort National Cemetery.

Viewing/Visitation will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wesley Jerome (Romey) Golden, 74 years old passed into spirit world on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of Richard Golden, Jr., and Annie B. Wilson Golden.  Wesley, at a very early age gave his life to CHRIST by baptism at Goodwill Baptist Church in Savannah, Ga.

Wesley, planted so many seeds of love, joy, peace, faith, wisdom, and laughter into the lives of others by allowing GOD to use him by praying with others, providing daily words of scriptures and encouragements to countless people. He loved his families.

Wesley finished Sol. C. Johnson High School in 1966.  He enrolled in the Navy- served two plus years.  He did a tour on duty in South Vietnam.  He was Honorable discharge from the Naval Reserve; received the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star.

He completed an AA degree from West Los Angeles College in Business Administration and attended California State University.  Wesley had many business ventures, such as real estate and free lance photographer. Romey lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia

Leaves to cherish his memory, his son Jevil Golden (Frenishyan Johnson), grandchildren Tyasis, Tiasis, Caryan Price, and Wesley Golden, Jr., Sisters, Richardean Golden Anderson(Curtis), Barbara Golden Cofer, Jacquelyn Golden Matthew( Solomon); Gloria Coleman(Mitchell) ,  Brothers, Hillis Evaries Golden (Rebecca), Cardell Bruce Golden (Cynthia) , Sister in Law, Nadine Goodwin. Two aunts, many nieces, and nephews; A Hosts of many 1st and 2nd cousins, large host of relatives and friends. A special friend T’Resay Drape-Jones and her family, adopted daughter and son Sunshine and Allen Jones, adopted granddaughters:  Beautiful-SeMore, Lovely-Tiana, Heavenly Kimora and Pressure Selise.
