Adams announces the passing of Mr. Vernon Scott, 62, who transitioned on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Adams announces funeral services of Mr. Vernon Scott which will be held

1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 23, 2019 in The Adams Chapel.

Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery.

Viewing will be held on Friday from 12:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

OBITUARY:

Mr. Vernon Henry Scott born October 1, 1956 in Savannah, GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. He attended Chatham County Public Schools. After graduating he joined the United States Marine Corps where he received an Honorable Discharge. He was also in the National Guard. He was a professional hair stylist and a former employee of Georgia Pacific as well as Savannah Expo.

Venon was a humble and loving individual. He enjoyed life to it’s fullest. He will be missed by many.

Vernon was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Jones Scott and father Samuel B. Scott and brother Walter Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories three devoted sisters whose names are Evangelist Carolyn Scott Toure’ of Savannah, GA; Dr. Sandra Lambert(Reverend Oliver C. Lambert, Sr.) of Los Angeles, CA.; and Cynthia Tremble(Vern Tremble) of Savannah, GA.

Seven devoted brothers: Benjamin Jones of New York, Curtis Jones(Regina Jones) of Atlanta, GA., Kenneth Scott of Savannah, GA., Eric Scott(Charlene Scott) of Charlotte, N.C., Darryl Scott, Sr.(Minister Jacqueline Scott) of Savannah, GA., as well as a special friend Freddie Glover and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
