Adams announces the passing of Mr. Tyrone E. Frazier, 55, who transitioned on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Hospice Savannah.
Mr. Tyrone E. Frazier was born September 04, 1963 in Savannah, Georgia to Mr. Nathaniel Frazier and Ms. Thelma Jones. He was the youngest of all of his siblings. Tyrone was preceded in death by his father and his oldest sister, Benzetta Jones.
Tyrone was educated in the Chatham County Public School System graduating from Richard Arnold High School in 1981. He was baptized at First Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in 1971 and later became a member of the Savannah West Broad Street Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He loved to socialize and never met a stranger, but most of all, he adored his family and everyone connected to them. He was known by most people as “Uncle Tyrone” or “Uncle TY” because of his compassion for his family. Tyrone showed love to everyone he encountered. His kindness, sense of humor and warm heart will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving mother, Thelma Jones; father-figure, James W. Jones Sr.; three sisters, Marilyn (Daniel) Cossey, Linda (Tyrone) Spann, and Sandra Frazier; five brothers, James W. Jones Jr., Ronald (Donna) Jones, Bryan (Martha) Frazier, Minister Michael (Melinda) Frazier, and Raymond “Lenny” Frazier; two aunts, Rosa Lee Boyd and Anna Williams; one uncle, Pastor Thomas (Mattie) Arkwright; a special friend India King and a host of other family members and friends.
