Mr. Thomas White

Adams announces the passing of Mr. Thomas Earl White, 65, who transitioned Monday, October 25, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Thomas Earl White was born on October 20, 1956, in Trenton, NC to Russell Thomas and Elleen Abroms White. After graduation from Jones County High School, he enlisted in the US Army.
After completion of his military service at Hunter Army Airfield, he decided to make Savannah, GA his home. While in Savannah, he worked for the US Postal Service for twenty-six years as a city letter carrier. During this time frame, Thomas also enrolled in classes at St. Leo College at HAAF campus. He had an affinity for music, and enjoyed playing the bass guitar, as well as listening to contemporary music. He also had an interest in repairing and restoring vehicles.
In 2013, he relocated to Charleston, SC for several years. In early 2019, Thomas returned to Savannah to be near his daughter Eliza Bernice, and his grandchildren Samiyah, and then later Tylere.
After an extended illness, on October 25th, 2021, at 5:39 PM, God whispered to Thomas, gently took his hand, and led him back to his home of origin. He was predeceased by his father, and brother Edward White of Trenton, NC.
He is survived by his daughters Eliza Bernice White and Yasmin Magwood (Christopher) both of Savannah, One Son Thomas Jermaine White of Savannah, GA. four grandchildren, his mother Elleen White of Raleigh, NC, his sister, Barbara Carolyn White of Virginia, a host of aunts, cousins, other family and friends
Adams announces the Funeral Services for Mr. Thomas E. White, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 4, 2021 in the Adams Chapel.
Viewing: 4:00 - 6:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery.
