On June 19, 2001 a very special gift was given to Steven Meimin and Michele Simmons. This gift was named Steven Michael Meimin II.
For 18 short years he was in our midst. On Friday February 28, 2020 in Savannah Georgia Steven's work on Earth was done.
Steven had a smile that lit up a room an a personality unlike no other. To know Steven is to love him. He was loving, kind, funny, happy person who left his mark on everyone he met.
He attended several Chatham County Schools from CGCA to Myers Middle to Jenkins High school and finally CAN Academy. He was truly a WARRIOR and let you know you CAN do anything if you put your mind to it. Steven was currently employed by Chatham County thru Chatham Personnel. He also was currently working towards his trade of becoming an Electrician.
He was a hard worker. A great son, brother, and friend. His father stated "Steven was the greatest gift that he could have gotten and the best part of me." Now he will be an our Guardian Angel.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Louis Richard Meimin, grandmother Denise Brenninger Meimin, and his uncle Dante Meimin.
Steven leaves to cherish his memories:
Father Steven Meimin Sr.; mother Michele Simmons; three sisters Ta'Nyua Meimin, Jasmine Meimin, and Jonelle Nesbitt; four brothers Joseph Simmons-Osman, David Simmons, Michael Meimin, and Terrell Meimin; two uncles Glenn Bartley Sr. (Wanda) and Richard Meimin; two aunts Cheryl Sanders and Nicole Meimin; one grandmother Deborah Simmons ; one grandfather Joseph Simmons; two Godmothers Tonya Foster and Stephanie Barnett; a special cousin Glenn Bartley Jr.; a host of other family members and many many caring friends.
