Adams announces funeral services for Mrs. Sonja Lyons Hayes which will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Jesus First Community Church located 2202 US Hwy 80 W.; Dr. Eric Mason, Pastor.

Viewing: Friday, January 17, 2020 from 12 P.M.-6P.M. at the funeral home.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery.

Sonja Lolita Lyons Hayes born Dec. 13, 1969 to most grateful parents (mother) Julia Grant and Thomas Grant, (the late) Benjamin Leon Lyons in Savannah, Georgia. Sonja was honorable student at Windsor Forest High. She was united in holy matrimony to husband Otis Hayes for 30 years. Sonja was a praying woman who loved God. Sonja was the glue to the family and she put them first in her life. She was a educator at Agape Of Angels Learning Academy Center.

Left to embrace her precious memory is her devoted husband, Otis Hayes Jr. , two daughters Courtney Hayes, Brittany Hayes; one granddaughter, Jamiyah Hayes; eight sister; Joanna Grant, (the late) Amy Pittman, Lakisheya Cooper and Yolanda Mitchell (Shawn),Vivian Sytes, Roekia Loadholt, Shanequa Cooper, Takara King; four brothers, Benjamin Lewis, Corey Grant Sr, Marvin Cooper(Kia), Demetre Cooper(Shantel); Grandaunt Katie Meggett, Special friend Michelle Cannady, Godson Caleb Cannady; God daughter Ashley Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
