Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens.

On Sunday January 20, 2019, God decided to call upon his child to come home to rest. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, neighbor, who enjoyed making everyone around her smiled. Mrs. Ruby Lee Wright Ward is preceded in death by her parents John and Rosa Lee Wright, and a brother John Willie Wright.
She leaves to cherish her precious and fond memories: her husband Mr. Kerry Jerome Wards, four daughters: Stephanie D. Lucas, Christina D. (Christopher) Edwards, Wanda C. Early, and ruby J. (Terry) McCoy, two sons: Alvin L. Early and Kerry L. Ward, Jr., twelve grandchildren: Ashley Lucas, Alvin Early Jr., Jaquan Evans, Victoria Bryant, Taylor Wilson, Benjamin Greene, Richard Lucas, Hezekiah Greene, Christopher Edwards, Gabriel Kelly, and Christopher Edwards, Jr. all of Savannah, three great-grandchildren: Lauren M. Early, Baylee N. Early, and Aiden Taylor, one brother-in-law: Chris Alexander, three sister-in-law: Marsha Ward, Patricia Ward, and Jackie Ward, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
