Adams announces the passing of Mrs. Lynnette Garvin, 54, who transitioned on Monday, January 13, 2020 at her residence.

Adams announces funeral services for Mrs. Lynnette Wallace Garvin which will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Deliverance Center located 200 Stokes Ave. Rincon, GA 31326.

Viewing will be held at the church the morning of the service

beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens located 880 GA-119 S, Springfield, GA 31329.

A season to be born:

Lynnette Wallace Garvin was born to Floyd Wallace and Ella Morell Wallace on May 23rd ,1965 in Springfield, Georgia. She was the oldest of three girls. Her sister Gail Wallace Williams preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her sister Loretta Wallace.

A season to learn:

She grew up in Springfield, Georgia where she attended the public schools of Effingham County and graduated from high school in 1983. She would go on to pursue Cosmetology at Savannah Technical College where she became a Licensed Cosmetologist.

A Season to serve:

She accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age. She was a member of the Royal Temple Holiness Church for a number of years and later joined Mount Carmel Deliverance Center where she served as a deaconess, a hospitality chairperson and a pastor's aide team member.

A Season to work:

Lynnette began her career as a health care professional as a high school intern. After high school she became a licensed cosmetologist and was a hair stylist for many years. She later decided to branch off into the food service industry where she was the owner and operator of Biz Barbecue (formerly known as BJ's Restaurant) in Springfield where she became a household name.

A season to love:

Lynnette was joined in holy matrimony to Israel Douglas Garvin on September 14, 1985. They shared love, laughs, and tears for over 34 years.

A season to enjoy life:

She enjoyed the simple things in life like shopping, flea markets,antique shops,and any where she could find hidden and unique treasures. She loved the Arts and Crafts, interior designs, and she had an eye for fashion. Her favorite vacation spot was Myrtle Beach ,South Carolina where she enjoyed seafood,and long walks on the beach.

A season to rest:

On January 13th 2020 Lynnette transitioned from Temporal to Eternal life at her home in Springfield.

A season to reflect:

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Israel Douglas Garvin, A devoted mother Ella Morell Wallace, and a beautiful sister Loretta Wallace.
