She was educated and graduated from Matilda Boarding School in Beaufort County South Carolina.
On June 1, 1946, she married the love of her life, James Grant. From this union came five daughters Estella, Mary, Shirley, Florence and Claretha. Earline was preceded in death by husband James, and daughters Estella, and Florence.
As a young woman, she, along with her brothers and cousins were proprietors of Singleton Beach in South Carolina. She was also self employed selling Stanley Home Products. She retired from the workforce in the mid 80’s to continue life as a homemaker.
On January 30th 1970, Earline dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a member of the Garden City Congregation for many years until the recent change in 2019 West Congregation in Garden City until her death.
She leaves to cherish precious and loving memories to, daughters: Mary L (Charles) Williams, Shirley M (Robert Sr) King, Claretha (Tom Sr) Smith. Grandchildren: Yolanda (Willie) Jinks, Shandrena Famble, Racquel King, James R. Grant, Ireshia Williams, Tom Smith Jr, Tosca Smith, Jason Smith, and Robert (Shonta) King Jr. and a special great-granddaughter Rashetria King. Thirty eight other great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and congregation friends.
