Obituary:
Denise Kennedy Duncan, 60, of Savannah, GA entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Denise was born on November 11, 1958. She was Baptized as a youth at First Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. R. J. Conner Sr. She later joined Bunn Memorial Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charlie B. Dillard. She was educated in the Chatham County School system. She graduated from Savannah High School in June of 1976. She continued at Armstrong State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Science. She was employed by Savannah Morning News for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her step-fathers, William Gray Sr. and Alfonso Faison; Nephew Craig Gray Jr. and brother-in-law Hilton Duckworth. Survivors include her husband of 26 years Horace Duncan; Two sons: Marquise Jetter(Demetra) and Christopher Jetter(Angel). One Step-son: Horace Duncan Jr. and step-daughter Tiffany Cole(Vernon) and 8 grandchildren. Mother Emily Faison; Three brothers: William Gray Jr., Sylvester Gray of Ft. Lauderdale and Craig Gray. Two sisters: Stephanie Campbell(Isaiah) and Lorraine Duckworth of Charlotte, NC. Four Step-brothers: Alphonso Faison, Kenneth Faison, David Faison, and Marvin Faison and one Step-sister: Donna Faison as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
