Adams announces Graveside Services for Mrs. Clara Williams Haygood, 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

Digital viewing will be held from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

Clara Mae (Williams) Haygood 79, passed away Monday April 2, 2020 at Candler Hospital. Clara was born October 8, 1940 in Garden City, Georgia.  She was the third of eleven children to Gladys (Gordon) Williams and Leroy Williams.  Her parents and one sister proceeded her in death at an early age.
She was a proud graduate of Woodville Tompkins High School where she was a majorette. She married Herbert Haygood Jr. in 1959, and to that union three children were born.  Vanessa (Haygood) Ivy and Vernon Haygood of Savannah, Georgia, and Valerie (Haygood) Heath of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
She was a beloved grandmother to six grandchildren: Vernon Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Kennedi Marshall, Cardell Heath, Janaun Ivy, and Jamarri Ivy.  She was also a beloved great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
She is survived by nine siblings: Lenora Hill, Leroy Williams Jr., Carolyn Williams, Marion Williams, Louise Cohen, Alton Williams, Donald Williams, Vincent Williams, and Denise Holmes of Savannah, Georgia.

There will be no public viewing, but there will be Digital viewing on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday April 8th, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
