Mrs. Angela Jarrett

Mrs. Angela Woods Jarrett of Chattanooga, TN, transitioned on Monday February 1, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, at the age of 70 surrounded by her family, after a long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension, PAH. She graduated from Riverside High School class of 1968.  Due to health complications she retired early from TVA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Charles H. Woods and Marie B. Woods, her half sister Joyce Johnson, all of Chattanooga, TN.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and devoted caregiver Robert.  The apple of her eye her son Robert, Jacksonville, FL.  Devoted daughter and caregiver Sabrina, Savannah, GA.  Loving sister Charlene (Alvin) Shaw, Atlanta, GA. Her grandchildren Jasmine and Treyvon, Jacksonville, FL, Amaya, Alpharetta, GA, Kyron and Kaylin, Savannah, GA.  Nieces Kelli Shaw, Washington, D.C., Noelle Shaw, Atlanta, GA, nephew Royce Johnson, Chattanooga, TN. A host of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions the family will have a private graveside service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.  There will be a Celebration of Life Banquet in November in Chattanooga, TN for all friends and family.

A special thank you to the Mayo Clinic Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic, Dr Burger, Dr. Moss, and Tonya Z.,R.R.T since 2017 you became more like family. A special thank you to the Mayo Clinic Hospital ICU and staff.
