Mrs. Vevelyn S. Taylor

Mrs. Veverly Sharon Taylor,, had her transition Monday, June 16 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

A native of Miami, FL, ""Val"", as she was affectionatley known, moved to Savannah and graduated from H.V. Jenkins High School in 1980. Her Culinary skills, she worked at Susan Mason Catering, Gottlibs Catering, George on the Beach, The Marshall House, John Nicoles Catering, where she served as the Operational Manager for the past six years.

Survivors: beloved mother, Thetis Milson; father, Albert Blocker; four brothers: James (Angela) Gooden, Guy (Dana) Milson, all of Miami, FL, Edward (Betty) Brown and Anthony Brown, all of Tampa, FL; sister Alcatrenia White of Savannah; five step brothers and sisters; four aunts: Dian (Ullyses) Moultrie, Louise (Joseph) Hunter and Louise (Sammie) Milson, all of Savannah, and Irene Miller of Brooklyn, NY.; her devoted life partner, Corey Brooks; a loving friend and mentoe, John Nicoles; four god children, one grand nephew; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
