Sheryl Childers, a devoted woman of faith and beloved matriarch, entered eternal rest on March 26, 2025, at Effingham Hospital. Born on July 19, 1959, Sheryl lived a life rooted in love, service, and unwavering faith in the Lord.
A proud 1978 graduate of Beach High School, Sheryl dedicated over 25 years of her life as a healthcare professional at Memorial Hospital, where she was known for her compassion, strength, and commitment to helping others. She retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and excellence in care.
Sheryl loved the Lord with her whole heart and found her greatest joy in her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Julian Childers, Jr., and their four children: Juliette Childers, Julian Childers III (Shantal), Harold Childers (Desiree), and James Childers (Regina). She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light to her life.
