Mrs. Marie C. Hall of Savannah, GA, 62, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Hospice Savannah Inc. She was born December 26, 1946 in Savannah, GA. She attended Johnson High School. She was a devoted housewife. She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Marie was born to the late John Henry Gibbs, and Mrs. Izora Stewart both of Savannah, GA, she was married to the late Henry Hall Junior.

Survivors: six children, Ulysses Hughes Jr. (Cynthia), Johnny Hughes (Vonda), Deborah Bess (Joseph), Joseph Smith Jr. (Kimberly), Andrew Hall, Felicia Hall; Nineteen Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, In-laws Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall Senior. Three sister In-laws, Carleathea Hall, (Ernest), Deborah Wilson (Earl), Pamela Jackson; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Three special friends; Mrs. Annie Ward, Mrs. Trina Cooper and Mrs. Carolyn Polite.

Funeral service: 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 27, 3009 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc. Chapel. 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA. Public viewing: Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hall will lie in state at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, South Carolina.
