Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Mae Campbell Riley will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Overcoming By Faith Ministries, 9700 Middleground Road, Pastor Ricky Temple, Officiating.
Public Viewing: Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
Lula Mae Campbell Riley, 89, of Savannah, GA, transitioned on Wednesday, October 13, 2016 at the resident of her daughter in McDonough GA under Hospice Care. She spent her final days surrounded by her daughters and other family members.
Lula was born February 24, 1927, in Levy, SC to Hattie Middleton and Isaac Campbell. She lived in Savannah most of her life and attended school in Chatham County.
She was an active member of Overcoming By Faith Ministries until her health began to fail.
Her husband, Joseph Riley Jr. and three children, Theresa James, Louise Johnson and James Brown Jr, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: four daughters, Lillian Riley (Eric) Eason, Rose Riley (Joseph) Gibbs of Savannah, GA; Janice Riley Sams of McDonough GA and Cornelia Brown of Atlanta GA; two sisters, Francina Proctor of Savannah, GA and Evelyn Taylor of Philadelphia, PA; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
