Mrs. Lillie Mae Green Sands

Mrs. Lillie M. Sands, 77, had her transition on November 29, 2014 at Candler General Hospital.


Memorial service will be held at St. MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS 3101 WATERS AVENUE on FRIDAY DECEMBER 5TH at 11:00AM.

OBITUARY:

Lillie Mae Green Sands
Born December 14, 1936 in Ellabelle, Georgia to Fred and Mamie Green who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by 3 siblings Edward Green AKA Bronson, Lucille Crayton, Johnny Green and Willie Louis Green.
Lillie moved to New York in 1956 where she worked for the US Postal Service and retired after 24 years Service in 1993. Lillie relocated to Savannah in 1994. Lillie was a member of Unity Church.
Lillie loved her family, friends and fishing. She was very involved in her community she loved helping people and touched the hearts and lives of so many.
She leaves to mourn her son, Ronald L. Sands, 2 Sisters Annie L. Green Scott and Eliza I. Green Giles both of Bronx, NY, her niece Janice D. Meachum of Savannah, GA and an Aunt Mrs. Viola Clanton of Pembroke, GA. Nieces Nephews and other Family and Friends and her Special Fishing Brother Bill Sutlive of Atlanta, GA.
