Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth Proctor Noble, 81, had her transition on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Macon, GA surrounded by her loving family.

Rite of Christian Burial service for Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth Proctor Noble will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, 441 east Broad Street.

Rosary Service: Wednesday from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Interment: Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY:         

Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth Noble, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John Proctor Sr. and Mrs. Adrian Hollingsworth Battle. Lillian attended St. Benedict the Moor Catholic School and Woodville High School.  She was a devoted and loving homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Ray Everett Noble on February 21, 1953. To this beautiful union of 59 years, three children, Ray, Gloria and Jacquelyn were born. Lillian was baptized at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church where she attended mass faithfully, until she and her family moved to Macon Georgia. In Macon, Lillian attended St. Joseph Catholic Church under Father John Cuddy.
Lillian was preceded in death by her Parents and grandmother, Mrs. Ida Gilbert, husband; Ray Everett Noble, a daughter; Jacquelyn Marie Noble, 
and three Sisters, Adrian Delois Watson, Esterlene P. Scott, and Gwendolyn P. Goodman.   
         

She leaves to cherish her memories, one loving son, Retired Chief Warrant Officer 5, Ray M. Noble (Brenda) of Hinesville, GA.; a devoted daughter,  Gloria D. Lowe of Macon, GA.;  four sisters: Ida Baker and Olivett Dobbs of Atlanta, GA.; Margaret Jones (Fred), and DeVera Wiggins (Ben) of Savannah, GA.; three brothers: Ulysses Proctor (Louise) of San Diego, CA.;
 Joe Battle, and Ronald L. Battle of Savannah, GA.; one aunt, Mrs. Edmona Hollingsworth of Bronx, New York; One sister-in-law: Margaret Murphy of Savannah GA.; Three grandchildren: Lieutenant Colonel Tom Noble (Amal), of Fayetteville, Georgia, Marion Ramon Noble, and Lillian Alicia Felton, of Macon GA; Twelve great-grandchildren and one Goddaughter, Jacquelyn Sharonda Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
