Mrs. Earline Howard

July 18, 1934 — February 2, 2014

Mrs. Earline Howard, 79, had her transition on Sunday, February 02, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family under the excellent and professional care of Hospice Savannah.


Funeral services for Mrs. Earline Harris Howard will be held 12:00PM, Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Second Arnold Baptist Church located 1427 E. 37th St.

Visitation with the family will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM at Flipper Chapel A.M.E. located 124 Pitt St.

Interment: The Catholic Cemetery.


Obituary:

Earline Harris Howard entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was a native of Lyons, GA and attended the public schools of Toombs County.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Flipper Chapel AME Church, where she served faithfully as a missionary and a steward. She organized the Fourth Sunday's dinners for fellowship. She was also a charter member of Trinity AME.

She retired after thirty-two years of service from the Chatham County School Board where she was dearly loved by the students, teachers and her coworkers.

The passions in her life were her children, grandchildren, preparing and serving good food, shopping and traveling. She was adored and loved by all, because of her loving heart and a sharing spirit. She loved sharing her wisdom and knowledge with others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta Sharpe and Grady Harris, her daughter Bernadette Renee Howard and her husband Elmer Howard Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Phillip Howard (Audrey). Four daughters, Beverly Burdine; Vanessa Suggs, Sandra O'Neal (Rev. Alan Sr.); Kimberly H. Owens(Lamar Sr.) A host of grandchildren, great grand children ,nieces , nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends .
