Mrs. Dolores Roman Scott

Dolores Zoila Scott was born in the Dominican Republic to Miguel Roman and Carmen Medina.

She came to the United States at the age of 13. She lived in Savannah, GA for a few years and then moved to The Bronx; where she began to create her own little family with the birth of her children; Linda, Adrian, Debbie, Beverly, Barbara, Nelson and Deliah.

During these years is where is meet the members of the “Midnight Riders”’ and they would be active for over 60 years. y ¡Con eso lo he dicho todo!

Dolores’ love for her Family is her most cherished accomplishment; She would say “Her children were perfect in her eyes” even when she would share stories of their youth. She loved the fact that she was a witness to the birth of several of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel… To her children and grandchildren house. Staying a month or two and then pack up and travel to the next one. She would show her love for them everyday and ways that would make each feel special.

Dolores loved to dance to an array of music from: Benny More, James Brown, Tom Jones, Michael Jackson and Kiss (Oh and we must not forget…2live crew and Bad Bunny. Yeah, that was Dolores!

Dolores passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years old, She is survived by her sister Christina her children Linda ( preceded her in death) Adrian, Debbie, Beverly, Barbara, Nelson (Miriam), and Delilah ( Michael); her Grandchildren Anthony, Adriance, Tamika, Venusmia, Yazmin (preceded in death), Andrew, Amanada, Kistina, Badres, Angelina and Michael; her Great Grandchildren: Kalell, Xavier, Jevin and Athena an long with countless of other members.

Visitation will be held at Falowski Kalis Mcintee on Saturday April 22, 2023 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at The Catholic Cemetery in Savannah, GA.
