Mrs. Deirdre L. Holmes Williams

Mrs. Deirdre L. Holmes Williams, 42, had her transition on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

Deirdre Lashawn Holmes Williams, was lost on April, 1, 2014. Deirdre was born to Wardell Holmes, Sr. and the late Dorothy Lee Myers Holmes on July 23, 1971. Deirdre worked for many years as a licensed hair stylist, a licensed insurance agent, and in retail. Deirdre was known for her infectious smile, laughter, and loving and giving spirit. She became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on March 24, 2014. She served as a regular pioneer and had the privilege to attend the international Convention in Africa in 1994, something that she always cherished. She married the love of her life, John Nathaniel Williams on December 21, 1996. That union was blessed with three beautiful children: Dionna Larissa, Jennifer Nicole, and John Nathaniel Williams II. She also leaves two brothers: Wardell Holmes III, and Dwayne Phillip Holmes.


Visitation will be on Friday, April, 4, 2014 between 6:00p.m and 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 5, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located 630 East Henry Street 31404 at 4:00p.m.
