Mrs. Charlotte Best, 80, had her transition on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Candler General Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte D. Best will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at First Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located 506 Hamilton Ct. Savannah, GA 31401; Rev. Keith T. Bruen, Pastor.

Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens, Savannah, GA.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 25, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Charlotte Best will lie in serenity in the church beginning 9:00AM, Saturday until the hour of service.

Charlotte D. Best, 80, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 20th, 2014 at Candler Hospital
surrounded by her loving family.

She was a native of Savannah, GA, and attended the public schools of Chatham County. She was a graduate of Alfred E Beach High School.

She was a member of Second Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Harry Best Sr, loving daughter Cheryl Johnson, one daughter-in-law Selathia Best and grandson Domain Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One Daughter, Linda Brock of Savannah, GA, One Son, Harry ""Nip"" Best Jr. of Savannah, GA, one son-in-law, David Johnson Sr. of Savannah, GA, three grand-daughters, Tonya Brock of Atlanta, GA, LaToya Stafford (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC, Ayanna Johnson of Savannah, GA, one sister, Nancy M. Ballard of Brooklyn, NC along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends
