Mrs. Carol Virginia Sams-Houston ""Bug"" , 72, had her transition on Monday, May 5, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Virginia Houston will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2014 at Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Reverend Larry Broxton, Pastor.

Public Viewing: Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 12:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Houston will rest in serenity at the church at 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.



OBITUARY:

Mrs. Carol Virginia Sams Houston was born in Savnnah, Georgia on January 25, 1942 to Lewis Sams,II and Mozella Cooper Sams and was the seventh of eleven children. She attended Chatham County Public Schools. She was employed by Charter Hospital (Coastal Harbor) and Buckingham South where she retired.

Carol passed away at home on Monday, May 5th. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Lewis Sams II and Mozella Cooper Sams, siblings Lewis Sams III, Lucille Mincey, Mildred Lee, Anthony Sams, and Miriam Roberson.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Rodney Huett and Michael Williams, brother Jerome Sams(Frances), sisters Gloria Howell, Betty Heck, Vivian Cottrell, and Charlotte Sweat (George), 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
