Mrs. Carletha Jenkins

Adams announces that Carletha B. Jenkins entered eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2017.

She was a native of Savannah, Ga. and attended Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents James & Gladys Bell; brothers, Leroy Heyward, and Earnest Lee Heyward; son, Timothy V. Williams, and daughter, April C. Jenkins

Survivors are: husband, Hal L. Jenkins Sr., sons, Anthony (Petra) Williams of Maneheim, Germany, and Hal (Shawanda) Jenkins, II; Stepchildren, Andre (Janice) Jenkins, Antonio Jenkins, Adriene J. Fennell, all of Savannah, Ga, Audrey Jenkins of Atlanta, Ga and Angela Jenkins of Savannah, Ga. Three sisters, Juanita (Johnny) Brown, Helen Smalls, and Jennifer Bell, and one brother, Vodie Bell, all of Savannah, Ga; Grandchildren, Devon A. Lane, Septimbar M. Jenkins, Caron Jenkins, Keshia, and Shirley Williams. A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 112 Fell St. Savannah, GA.

Visitation: Monday, September 25, 2017; 5:00- 7:00 PM in Adams Chapel

Interment- Catholic Cemetery.
