Mrs. Bridie Futch Moon

Mrs. Bridie Futch ""Mama Moon"" Moon, 74, had her transition Monday, February 2, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Savannah, ""Mama Moon"", as she was affectionately called, was a member of First Bryan Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board. Her loving and devote husband, James Moon, Jr., son, James Moon, III,parents: Gordon and Louise Kenny Futch, sister, Alphenia Murchison; brother, Tillman Futch, preceded her in death.

Survivors: children: Brenda Washington of Midway, GA, Cheryl (Dexter) Heard of Pooler, GA and Walter Moon, Sr. of Savannah; parents: sister, Lee Frances Jenkins of Savannah; grands: Vernon(Michele)Moon of Pooler, Angela(Larry)Wall of Savannah, Sean Moon of Lawrenceville, GA, Marcia Moon of Bloomingdale, GA, Jennine Moon of Columbus, GA, Yolanda Howard of Pooler, Walter Moon, Jr, James Moon, both of Savannah and Corey Moon of Pooler; brother-in-law, Willie (Jane)Moon of Reno, Nv; twenty-one great-grands; two great-great-grands; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5:30pm-6:30pm, Friday Evening in Chapel

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 7, 2009 @ 12 noon

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
