Adams announces the passing of Mr. Roosevelt Brown, Sr., 82, who transitioned on Friday, June 15, 2018 at His Residence.
Mr. Roosevelt “Bunk” Brown journeyed to his heavenly home on June 15, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was a native of Statesboro, Georgia and lived in Savannah for many years. He married Verdell German(deceased) and from that union they had three children. He leaves behind his two daughters Dr. Ludella Brown and Jacqueline Brown, son Roosevelt Brown Jr., sister, Willie Mae Hall, sister in law Ann Wilson (Ernest) of New York, 2 granddaughters Kelli Thompson (Johnny), Brittni Walker, 2 grandson’s Patrick and Jamal Brown, great granddaughter Sophia Thompson and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. He loved photography and in his early years worked at Andrew Blun Photo Shop of Savannah as an apprentice. He was employed by International Paper formerly Union Camp.
A Celebration of Life and Homegoing Service will be held at one o’clock pm. on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, with Interment at Hill Crest Abbey West Cemetery 1336 Dean Forest RD. Savannah, GA 31405.
