OBITUARY:
Marion Vincent Milligan was born on January 27th, 1952 to Mr and Mrs. Floyd Rhaney Sr. (Bernice)
He went to school at St. Pius X School where he played football and basketball and graduated from Hershel V. Jenkins High School.
He married Edna M. Dean on July 30th, 1985.
He worked for the Board of Education as a Bus Driver and Mechanic for many years. He also worked for Chatham Area Transit as a Paratransit Driver and retired after 15 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Edna Milligan, his five children: Raphael Milligan, Ian Milligan, Cullen Milligan, Caitlin Milligan, and Cassidy Milligan, his siblings: Betty A. Milligan, Floyd Rhaney Jr. (Shelia), Michael Rhaney, and Betty L. Milligan, his one and only granddaughter that he thought the world of : Jai’Lynn M. Broxton, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends who he loved like family and they loved him like family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mr and Mrs. Floyd Rhaney (Bernice), his sister Jacquelyn Rhaney, his brothers Charles Milligan and Eugene Milligan (who is survived by his wife, Georgette Milligan).
Marion loved fishing and playing the guitar and was a HUGE fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves. He was an extremely hardworking and loving husband, father, brother and son.
He touched so many lives with his vibrant and caring personality, his laugh and how he was able to make you laugh, and his encouraging spirit.
