Adams announces the passing of Mr. Louis Hackler Freeman, III “Papi”, 56, who transitioned on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

SAVANNAH, GA
Louis Hackler Freeman III, 56, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born in Annapolis, MD to Louis H. Freeman Jr, and Elizabeth Ann Freeman (deceased).

“Papi” as he was affectionately known to his family was an Army Veteran and also a member of the Operating Engineers Local Union 474 and worked at the shipyard for the Ports Authority of Savannah. He was just an average guy trying to make a living and liked to fish and hunt.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Ann Freeman, and brother Michael Freeman.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Father; Louis H. Freeman Jr. (Valerie), Sister; Michelle Freeman, Brother; Wayne (Brenda) Freeman,

His other family members for which he cared for here in Savannah for the past 22 years are Ms. Beth Moore, Calvin Moore, Susan Elaine Cobb and Selina Hall who adored him as a father/grandfather and nicknamed him “Papi”. Other family members include Nana Patricia Hilliard, David (Darla) Cobb, Jeff (Brenda) Cobb and Lynda Cobb.
