Adams announces the passing of Mr. LeRon G. Pace, 29, who transitioned on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Adams announces the graveside service of Mr. LeRon Garvin Pace which will be held 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Viewing will be held from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M., Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the funeral home via our drive-thru.

Leron G. Pace was born on September 23, 1991 to the parents of Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Gwenetta Pace, Jr. and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy (Phoebe) Pace, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Garvin (Willie Mae) Arnold.  He was the brother to Crystal and LeRondria Pace and the father of Ray’Ona and Milan Pace.

He was a member of Second Arnold Baptist Church and a former member of the Youth and Young Adult Ushers Ministry and a helper in the church in the area of audio recorder and he often helped in the Children’s Ministry.

He attended Benedictine Military School for one year and later transferred to Sol C. Johnson High School where was selected to become a member of the High School National Honor Society, and member of the Student of the Month.  He participated with the Delta Epsilon Chi Web Site Program DECA). He graduated in 2010 where he was a star student. Upon graduation, he received letters from Northwood University, University of Kentucky, Reinhardt College, Johnson and Wales University, Georgia Tech and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, just to name a few.

He attended Benedict College in Columbia, S.C. under an academic scholarship and later transferred to continue his education at Savannah State University.  He graduated May 7, 2016 from Savannah State with a B.S. degree in Biology.

He was the 2008 bronze medalist for the 3,000m race walk defender; an all American in the 3,000m race walk, gold medal for javelin from the ages of 11 to 16.

His employment experiences started at the age of 11 when he worked his first job with his surrogated uncle, Eric Riley at Riley’s Auto Work.  He also worked in the lawn care business during the summer with Sam’s Lawn Care Services.  At the age of 18, he started working at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in the Department 197 of Shipping and Receiving.  This work program was through Sol C. Johnson High School Work, Business, Leadership Program (WBL).

He was currently employed by Tidal Transport and Trading USA Limited.  He was an equipment operator with locations in Seattle, Washington and the west coast.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Mr. Leroy and Gwenetta Pace, Jr.; 2 daughters, Ray’Ona and Milan Pace; sisters, Crystal and LeRondria Pace; aunts, Gloria Pace, Gale Pace, Merlinda Arnold, Frances Pace and Cynthia Pace; uncles, Garnell Pace and Anthony Pace; grand aunt, Janice Pace; grand uncles, Matthew (Margie) Pace, James (Mary) Arnold, Rev. Heulet (Virginia) Arnold, Willie Lewis (Curley) Arnold and John Arnold.  Special cousins, Ashley Pace-Biggins, Taj Pace and Jeremy Pace; a host of cousins and friends.
