Kenneth George Scarlett (nicknamed Robin), 71, closed his eyes on the evening Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Savannah, Georgia. Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent most of his life expressing God’s love in a tangible way to everyone he met. He entered the world on July 5, 1949, as the second born of ten children to the late Clifton Scarlett and Josephine Scarlett (Simpson) in the town of Craighead Manchester, Jamaica W.I. Since birth, Kenneth was always cheerful with a big bright smile and loving to his family, siblings, and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Scarlett (2004). He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Herma Scarlett (Page); his mother Josephine Scarlett (Simpson), 91, Children, Kenworth Scarlett, Kevin (Morphia) Scarlett, Hermique (Eric) Scarlett-Wilson, and adopted children Shane (Sharelle) Corrodus; Grandchildren, Zion Scarlett, Kayla Scarlett, Josiah Scarlett, Gabriel Scarlett, Ethan Wilson, Shane Corrodus II, and Shania Corrodus; Siblings, John “Earle” Scarlett, Glenton “Glen” (Veronica) Scarlett, Leabert “Ruddy” (Advira) Scarlett, Lilith Scarlett, Earnie “Val” (Mavis) Scarlett, Trevor (Suzette) Scarlett, Lenworth Scarlett, Leaford “Jeffrey” Scarlett, and Sandra “Joy” Scarlett. He also left behind Nieces and Nephews, Paula Scarlett, Evroy Scarlett, Latoya Scarlett, Lagean Scarlett, Doneckia Scarlett, Dermaine Scarlett, Garren Scarlett, Janelle (Martell) Scarlett-Brown, Derion Scarlett, Lalease Scarlett, and Taje Scarlett. Grandnieces and Grandnephews, Christopher Francis, Kenyata, Patterson, Jaheem Hinds, Jannia Brown, Yhashua, and Jayden. Uncle, Samuel “Hugh” (Ruth) Simpson.
Kenneth George Scarlett leaves behind a plethora of relatives and friends in Jamaica, England, and USA to grieve his passing and celebrate the love he showed. He was genuinely loved and will be sincerely missed.
