Keith Harris was born in Savannah, GA to the late Miss Sadie Harris Tawley on November 21, 1959. He attended the public schools of Chatham County. He was affectionately known as “Spinnaroo.”
Keith was an easy-going person, had a generous spirit, and loved the company of family and friends. He was previously employed by the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education as a custodian for many years. He enjoyed cooking, crabbing, painting, playing Spades, and fishing.
Keith departed this life on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Keith was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, Ricky, and Wilburt Harris.
His memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife of 29 years, Delphine Harris; four sons: Oran Petty, Sr.,Antonio Petty, Sr., Armon Wesley, Keith Harris II; one daughter: Kha`De`Jah Harris (All of Savannah, GA); eleven grandchildren: Charmaine (Trey, Sr.) Elder (Columbus, Ohio), Jabrea Bryant, Javonna Brown, Naya Steward, Antonio Petty, Jr., Alaysia Pringle, Keith Harris III, Anterrio Pringle, Oran Petty, Jr., Brielle Petty, Emory Coprick (expected arrival July 2019) (All of Savannah, GA); two great-grandchildren: Tani’Lynn and Trey Elder, Jr. (Columbus, OH); five sisters: Donna Harris (Savannah, GA), Beverly Kemp (Savannah, GA), Betty Brown, Finis Sims, MaryAnn Chapline, Kellye Reid (All of Jacksonville, FL); three brothers: John Reid (Savannah, GA), Martin Williams, Anthony Williams (Jacksonville, FL);and a host of loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
